Access Control Needs in Nigeria
Gated residential estates, serviced apartments, office buildings, banks, schools and industrial yards are all common in Nigeria’s cities, and many of them control access at the gate as well as at the door. In Lagos and Abuja, an estate entrance often combines a boom barrier for cars, a pedestrian gate with a keypad or turnstile, and electric locks on the clubhouse, offices and plant rooms.
Power planning matters. Many Nigerian buildings run on a mix of grid power, generators and inverters, so decide which doors should unlock when power is lost (fail-safe) and which must stay locked (fail-secure) before choosing hardware. Low-voltage access control devices are also simple to put on a battery-backed power supply.
Estate gates & gatehouses
Automatic boom barriers with RF remotes for residents’ cars, plus a keypad, tripod turnstile or full height turnstile on the pedestrian side.
Offices, banks & serviced apartments
Fingerprint keypads and EM locks on entrances, and smart locks with large user capacities for apartments and short-let units.
Industrial yards & warehouses
Fail-secure electric strikes on stores, full height turnstiles for staff gates, and touchless or break glass exit devices.

Magnetic Door Locks in Nigeria
LOKIZ EM locks hold 280 kg (600 lbs) and run on DC12V or DC24V. The LK-M280-5T and LK-M280-7T have a red/green LED status indicator, which lets security staff at a Lagos office or estate clubhouse see at a glance whether a door is secured. For double doors, the LK-M280D-5T gives 280 kg on each leaf.
Because these EM locks are fail-safe, they release when power is cut — correct for escape routes. Put them on a battery-backed supply so generator changeovers do not leave doors unlocked.

Biometric Access Control in Nigeria
Fingerprint access removes the problem of shared or lost keys at staff entrances. The LK-T02-WiFi has a semiconductor fingerprint sensor and stores 10,000 card/code users plus 300 fingerprints; the LK-T01-WiFi offers the same capacity in a slim touch format; and the LK-T03-WiFi is a card-and-code keypad for 2,000 users with data backup.
All three are Tuya-enabled, so a facility manager in Abuja can issue temporary codes or check visitor records from a phone, and their IP68 metal cases suit open-air gates in the rainy season.

Boom Barriers in Nigeria
From residential estates in Lekki and Ikoyi to company yards in Port Harcourt and Kano, boom barriers are a familiar sight at vehicle gates in Nigeria. The LOKIZ automatic boom barrier offers 3–6 m arms, a 1.5–3 second cycle, LED arm lighting, an included RF remote and vehicle loop detector compatibility.
For power interruptions it has a manual release key and an emergency auto-open mode on power failure. It is listed for AC 220V / 110V, which suits Nigeria’s 220–240 V mains. Add a drop arm barrier to control the pedestrian lane beside it.

Smart Door Locks in Nigeria
Smart locks suit Nigerian homes, serviced apartments and short-let units, where managing keys between guests, staff and owners is a constant job. The LK-E14TT stores up to 1,350 users with fingerprint, PIN, RFID card and app access; the LK-A8Pro adds palm vein and 3D face recognition with remote control support; and the LK-DF7 has a stainless steel body, a Grade C cylinder and dual-side fingerprint recognition.

Door Locks & Electric Strikes in Nigeria
Where a door must stay locked during a power cut — a cash office, server room or store — use a fail-secure electric strike. The LK-SL02C-NC is a long-type, fail-secure strike with 500 kg holding force, and the LK-SL02C-NO is its NO counterpart in stainless steel with door-signal support.
Complete each door with an exit device: the touchless LK-NT03S suits receptions and clean areas, and the LK-BG03-G break glass unit gives a manual emergency release on escape routes.

Turnstiles & Flap Barriers in Nigeria
Factories, campuses, banks and office headquarters in Nigeria use turnstiles to stop tailgating at staff entrances. The SUS304 tripod turnstile is the cost-effective option for staff gates; the full height turnstile (IP55, 2,000–2,200 mm high) prevents climbing and suits perimeter gates at industrial sites; and the dual lane flap barrier runs two lanes for busy lobbies.
Turnstiles are bulky freight — the dual lane flap barrier weighs 119 kg with packing — so the shipping cost is worked out with your quotation.

FAQ
Access Control System Nigeria — FAQ
Can I order an access control system for Nigeria from LOKIZ in Dubai?
Yes. LOKIZ exports access control systems from Dubai to Nigeria, including EM locks, fingerprint and RFID keypads, smart locks, electric strikes, exit buttons, boom barriers and turnstiles. Send your list on WhatsApp or by email and we will reply with a free export quotation.
Which locks are best if my building relies on generators or inverters?
Decide door by door. EM locks such as the LK-M280-5T are fail-safe: they release when power is lost, which suits escape routes. The LK-SL02C-NC electric strike is fail-secure: it stays locked without power, which suits stores and cash rooms. In both cases, a battery-backed power supply keeps the access control running through generator changeovers.
What do you recommend for a residential estate gate in Lagos or Abuja?
Usually an automatic boom barrier (3–6 m arm, RF remote included, loop detector compatible) for vehicles, plus an IP68 keypad such as the LK-T02-WiFi or a tripod turnstile for pedestrians. The barrier also has a manual release key and opens automatically on power failure.
How are goods shipped to Lagos, Abuja or Port Harcourt?
Shipping is quoted per order. Your export quotation shows the delivery method and cost for your products and destination city. Transit times vary with the delivery method and route, so we do not publish fixed delivery times.
Do you supply smart locks for short-let apartments?
Yes. The LK-E14TT stores up to 1,350 users and supports fingerprint, PIN, RFID card and mobile app, while the LK-A8Pro adds palm vein and 3D face recognition. Send the number of units and door types and we will suggest suitable models.
Can contractors and system integrators get volume pricing?
Yes. LOKIZ offers volume discounts for contractors, system integrators, dealers and corporate buyers. Prices are on request — send your BOQ for a free export quotation.
Can I get datasheets before I order?
Yes. Datasheets and technical support are available on WhatsApp, and each product page lists key specifications such as holding force, voltage and user capacity.
