FAQ
Biometric System Dubai — FAQ
What is the best biometric system in Dubai?
It depends on the job. For doors, a fingerprint reader with card and PIN backup such as the LK-T02; for staff, a biometric attendance machine; for homes, a fingerprint or face smart lock; for busy entrances, a turnstile with a reader.
How much does a biometric system cost in Dubai?
A single-door fingerprint access control system costs AED 1,200–2,500 supply-only, card + fingerprint AED 2,000–4,500, and smart door locks AED 600–1,800. Attendance machines are quoted on request. Prices exclude 5% VAT and installation.
Which is better — fingerprint or face recognition?
Fingerprint is fast and affordable for most doors. Face recognition is touchless and suits users whose fingerprints are hard to read. Some LOKIZ smart locks, such as the LK-A9Pro, offer fingerprint, 3D face and palm vein together.
Can one biometric system handle doors and attendance?
Yes. LOKIZ fingerprint readers such as the LK-T01 and LK-T02 open the door and connect to time-attendance systems over Wiegand 26.
Do biometric readers work without internet?
Yes. The LK-T01 and LK-T02 work as standalone controllers. The Tuya app adds remote unlocking and user management when WiFi is available.
Do you install biometric systems in Dubai?
Yes. LOKIZ supplies and installs biometric access control, attendance and smart locks across Dubai and all UAE emirates.
